I know this is the wrong place for this thread but i really dont know where to post this...sorry.

I'd like to share this build of dragons kettenkrad, The indy links were a nightmare and terribly small and there were a few fit issues but i really enjoyed the build, not my best work but fun none the less.

Thanks to those of you who had a look.

That's brilliant. The photos belie how small that kit really is, there's just so much detail in the model and painting.

Brilliant build mate, if that's not your best work I'd love to see what is!!!!

Cheers, Andrew

Cracking build Aaron, good subject small but compact, love it.

Thanks for the positives everybody,

Monica, the chipping is one of my favorite parts and i tend to go a little overboard. It's simply a lighter shade of the base colour or white done with a small brush or sponge then blackbrown painted within the lighter shade. Really easy and fun.

That is a really neat build. Even though only a small base there is pleanty going on.

Well built and painted. Nice one.

I have moved this to the soft skins section. it was 50/50 between that or diorama. Heads won.

Super work Aaron a fantastic diorama/vignette some great detailing and painting well worth the great build doodab

what have you used for that wall? can you tell me? you build it? or it is a kit?

Love it, great build and very authentic weathering. Especially considering the miniscule size. :D :D

Gregg

I really like this one. It looks natural and the figures are very good.

BTW, what is a soft skin?

if this isnt your best work then there is really no hope for me at all,if i made it look like that then i would be shouting it from the roof tops ` LOOK WHAT I DID` lol,

something that isnt armoured,..............as in a tank has a lot of armour thats hard and resiliant but a truck dosnt, so it has a soft skin

thank you Aaron, you have made some think that looks hard to do so easy and looks real good ,

Cheers peoples,

Thanks for moving this thread Ian, i knew you would sort it :)

what have you used for that wall? can you tell me? you build it? or it is a kit?
Catalin, the wall is made from a thin layer of multi purpose filler (used for repairing holes in walls) spread out on a lid and left to dry then broken up into small pieces and layered. Kind of tedious but i like tedious...its relaxing. Thanks again for the feedback.
