Good work John,
I know you too well Dave. How did you know it was me thats going to shout "oh no" :tongue-out:
Welcome John, hope you enjoy the dio .Hello Mr Race,
Not seen one of your builds and may i say it...A DIORAMA, for a long time. Will certainly pull up a chair for this. You may continue.
Thanks Andrew.Nice John!!
Cheers Si, that assembly of the shields was fun, 3 separate glue points, the need of 3 hands would have helped.Lots of very fiddly bits in the gun and its mount so hats off for getting it together John :thumb2:
Thanks Bob.Good work John,
Thanks Wibble . There was some use of bad language.Wobble,
Looks better now you have corrected the issue.
Wibble.
I've built the Marder Ron , agree that was a nice kit, as this is is , the moulding is superb, just me being the problem.Nice going John, I remember building this kit +/-25 yrs. back when it was a brand new release, loved building it. That was a great year or so, Tamiya had come out with their Famo, Dragon Wagon. this Marder, maybe their Wespe too. All in close succession of one another. Great exciting times then, heady days !
Thanks Paul.Good save Dzohn.

Hi Lee ,( the Rocket launcher has turned up ). No fires in this ------ yet so think you will be ok .Seated next to Graeme to help with the Fire Protection.

Cheers. Rick , hope you're both well.Lookin' good JR......keep on renderin':rolling:
Yes Dave , ti's such a problem, of course should I use a thistle finish coat !Blimy a scratch coat first John? Joking aside is it a two coat render on that kappa board to stop it sucking in to fast and cracking ,can you not get away with one coat ,just a thought if you've got a piece of scrap try sealing it with some thinned down pva(uni bond )won't affect the adhesion but will cut back the suction . I'm sure you know what we're talking about. Dave
Thanks John.Morning John,
Nice bit of JR construction work to start the day. All looking fine, so let us "return to render".

Many thanks Jim, yes your spot on .:thumb2::thumb2::thumb2:Glad you got the kit built up ok and the gun issue sorted. For most of us the dio is there to show off the model but for you the model is only there to enhance the dio.
Already impressive building work. Looking forward to the rest.
Wabble, it's the reoccurring problem I have. Realised I'd left a part off, having attempted to glue before hand the next section. In the end it was easier just to cut the damned locating tab off !Building of the building looks good John.
Oof...! Very generous with the glue there...
Just curious, were you leveling the surface to get a good fit? I have the same kit and want to avoid this problem.
Thank God there are photos and looking forwards to the Dio
Cheers,
Wabble
