Today saw the start of a tree, in the past I've use my supply of Sea Foam. Some will remember the growing of it years ago. This time I've added pieces to a dried thicker section. Ive not bothered to remove those seeds, a night mare to take every single one off. Once the leaves are on, they won't be seen. --------Hopefully:)

Used Tamiya puty , some thinned the paint to the grain, then added unthinned to the joins.

The CA is not the easiest to go off even using activator.

John.

Top job John. The roof looks spot on. Mud has worked well. That tree is excellent.

What a mess, yes it's into the IPA in the morning to strip all the paint and varnish off. Did try a oil weathering, because the yellow German paint had been brushed on the varnish didnt go well and was very blotchy. Came close to throwing the whole thing away !
Too much going on as a few of you know, but when your wife of 56 years starts to develop Alzheimer's it's not a joke . A very sad end .

Beautiful work Dzohn. Sorry about your wife's troubles.

Stripped the dreaded StuG in IPA, wow most impressed. Having read that Detol can unglue TET decided some else, then read about IPA. Of course I have a 5 ltr bottle so popped the model in an old ice cream container and poured it in and waited , used a small paint brush and all the varnish paint and primer came off .
Photos tomorrow.

I found methylated spirit to be even better than IPA but I don't know if it has any effect on glue joints.
