Nice one Al, I love seeing kits get started on here that I never even knew existed and I have certainly not come across this one!

It's basically the first A-10 of it's day. The B-2 versions had a 30mm cannon fitted underneath and the B-3 version had a Bordkanone BK 7.5 cannon underneath. They also had two 13mm machine guns and two 20mm cannons in the nose area of the aircraft. Deadly as hell. The B-2 could also carry two 250lb bombs under the wings.

Hi mate,

Love the look of the HS129, will be following this one closely.

Cheers

You certainly like your lesser known Luftwaffe subjects Allyne. It's great to see someone have a go at the less famous tank cracker. I know this wasn't a particularly successful aircraft (total production around 900 off the top of my head) but that's no reason not to build one.

Cheers

Steve

This is a nice kit Allyne i will be keeping an eye on this build.

Started the cockpit witha coat of RLM 66 and painted a few levers. Also highlighted some of the areas that would get scuffed with normal wear and tear. I used dull aluminium for that. I'm just dry fitting the cockpit armoured tub in the fuse to see if it fits ok. Need to add the instrument panel too. Also have painted the u/c bay in RLM 02 and they are drying away nicely. Will klear them later and then add some dirt and rust wash to them.

Very nice looking cockpit. The little dots of colour really bring it to life, especially when they are as tidy as these. Do you brush paint them or do you use the tip of a cocktail stick method? Whichever, it is a very neat job.

Brush paint the RLM 66 then use a cocktail stick for the instruments

Great looking detail and a lovely paint job as always. I remember making the old Airfix kit of this in 1/72nd and being impresed with the cannon! Slightly more basic level of detail in that one though!

Looking really good so far mate. Great work on the cockpit. What camo will you be doing it in?

Cheers
