Hi Colin, thanks for the comment,

The kit itself wasn't to bad..(I've built a lot worse).. there are a couple of fit issues, mainly with the intakes and the wing joint at the top of the fuselage..(cockpit side), but they're nothing that a few swipes with a sanding pad won't rectify.

The only thing I would advise anybody to do is to make sure you've done a bit of research before you start, the Harriers on the way to the Falklands were repainted, and there are various differences between both Ships and Aircraft.

Nick Greenall at http://www.harriersig.org.uk/ came in very handy for research..(many thanks to Nick for his help).

Great rendition of one iconic plane. And good to see you build something mate.
This plane reminds me of an old PlayStation game where you could fly the Harrier.
Lovely finish and attention to detail, well done!

Cheers

A cracking build Chris. Everything looks just right - A/C, pilot and base. You should be justifiably proud!
Cheers

That's truly amazing, fantastic... got to love the harrier!

Well done on the explosive canopy coil. That bit would scare me! One booboo and it’s never going to be perfect ever again.

If it helps, I just covered the area with Vallejo white grey, and when dried 'scraped' the paint back to the 'det cord' with a cocktail stick.. (It did take a couple of attempts, but I got there in the end)
