discussion 1/48 Pre-war roundel decals?

Hi all;

Does anyone do a sheet of pre-war (1930s) RAF roundels in 1/48? I've got the xtradecal A type roundel sheet, but they are the darker, early war colours. Grateful for any help.

Not sure Ian; the circle ratios changed post-war, so the red centre is too large. This is becoming very difficult!

Bugger, modeldecal used to do pre-war roundal decals with the smaller inner red circle but just found out they are out of business

Not those ones either Si - I've got those. The colours are the early war 'darkened' type; they were brighter pre-war. I'll order some of the Model Alliance ones from abroad.

Hannants do the Wings of Silver decals but only in 1/72 as far as I can tell.

On a 41 Sqn (what else??) Bristol Bulldog. It's the old Inpact/Pyro/Lifelike kit. The kit decals are way too bright - they look more like French roundel colours; besides, they are 50 years old and may not perform too well. Looks like those Model Alliance ones are OOP :-(
