sorry for the short delay in post guys, i have just spent the weekend with the sealed knott at newstead abbey,

anywhere i have paint the camo and the underside, still got alittle tiding and touching up to to, colours are alittle be dark, but it will be ok for my first model.

Guys do I do any washes and weathering before I apply the gloss coat ,decals and matt coat or after? When do you do yours?

Hi Shane nice work so far. I apply my washes at the end ,so i paint then apply gloss/clear then decals then clear/gloss then washes then final matt if needed hope it helps but others may do it differently

I do it the same way as Ian. Your Spitfire is looking good Shane, very nice paint work.

So Shane, which paints did you use in the end ? I'm looking at building a 1:48 Hurricane, but Vallejo don't do the 'Sky' paint in model colour, or did you use 'Model air'

hi colin i used model air colours, duck egg green, dark earth and dark green
