Finally finished a wingy thing after binning two! trying to get the hang of the filling, rubbing down and re scribing needed on aircraft, I am calling her done even though she is still a little rough as this is a learning curve for me I am happy enough, decals are Fantasy Printshop and Eduard seat belts,

That's really good Steve - I like how you've kept a nice sheen to the paint. I often go a bit too mad with the matt coat!

For your first wingy thing as you put it, it looks fantastic really liking the painting and decals

Looks great steve , love the paintwork. You say youve not done many aircraft ? You certainly cant tell. , it looks amazing. How much nose weight did you put in ? I ask because ive got the trumpeter fmk 9 vampire in the stash . Cheers tony

Thanks Tony I am not sure exactly how much but make sure you put as much as you can, this one has three fishing weights in and still only just sits on its nose wheel.

Wow, I missed this the first time around Steve, but awesome job on the Vampire. Different in those naval colours, and as has been said already, I like the sheen on your final paint work. If this is one of your first aircraft models then you are well on your way to conquering them all. You said you rescribed as well, awesome job on that too. Great build all round mate.

I to missed this one great job Steve nice colour scheme to the usual silver , grey camo's depicted if thats rough round the edges i would like my skills to be that rough

I missed this too, glad I've seen it now. Once seen never forgotten, this is a stunner and I love the scheme, a vampire with a touch of venom. Fangs for the memory. :)
