Perhaps predictably it’s Spitfire time!
I’ve honed my airbrush skills a little and am happy so far with the job. Tried to be a little more patient with masking on canopies and not make the mistakes I made on the last 109. So far so good.8B12E657-5F10-447E-AB01-F1451A96B6D2.jpegE1DB251A-28D6-47E7-A23D-BEF5D8F9E512.jpeg19AF3152-7DCC-4B6D-A85E-7BC290A5DA20.jpeg35E568A5-6E48-4140-BE3B-0764F4C02187.jpeg4CE5F449-4B95-4A80-A406-044219FFC233.jpeg075202A4-D02B-4403-8B90-BC56B454ABB7.jpeg1B0B44D3-61CB-4B7E-999B-E959B0248A8B.jpeg07D10BA5-915C-499E-8221-4AC81C943387.jpeg562F2876-5821-434E-BB48-F9D34B49639C.jpeg

Hi Russell
An iconic aircraft. Looking good. Nice cockpit and the paintjob is neat.

Looking nice. When I see a Spitfire being built, I can hear the thing.......Who doesn't like a Spitfire.

Such a nice sound too. I’m in Sussex and there’s a spit that does circuits in the summer, the one with the d-day markings and it’s so evocative. Obviously I wasn’t around in the 40s but somehow it’s still nostalgic to me.
