Airfix's re-box of the old Spitfire Vb. Completed in the markings of Pilot Officer Leo Nomis, No.71 (Eagle) SQN RAF, Martlesham Heath, Suffolk, England, April 1942.

Thanks John. Not as such; after the Mustang mishap I went through a motivational issue with modelling, the Spitfire cleared the pipes so to speak and that is why there are a number of builds all of a sudden.
 
What no close up of the cockpit? Still looks cool though! Are you going to hang it? That's what I would do :o

Another nice build this time of the oil' Airfix Spitfire. Just goes to show what can be done with the older kits.

A great looking job Joe, just wish I could get my kits to look as good.
 
Nice one, Joe. It might be old but at least it gets the 'gull wing' right - unlike the Revell one I'll be starting shortly. Great choice of markings!
