Great job............ I've just started airbrushing. My first is going to be the Kingfisher OS2. Hope get a result like you have.

was that the airfix kit?

EDIT: my bad too detailed to be airfix . so what company made that?

hi sorry ,meant to put kit details was the revel kit, went together really well actualy had to fill usual places but nothing bad

That's an awesome build! I really like the subject matter, too :) Glad to see you did so well with your a/b - I'm still struggling a few years later!
 
Great job nice base I really like the camo weathering looks very good to I hope you washed your modellers thumb afterwards lol
 
I worked at the Blohm & Voss AG yard in Hamburg for a few weeks some years back. I was given a tour of their museum in the basement. They have models of everything they've built. I can't remember seeing this plane but I remember they have a model there of the Bismark which is 12 feet long awesome thing. There are a couple of books on the history of B&V which are really informative.

Nice one. But, does anyone know why the aircraft was built like this ? The Germans were brillaint engineers during the war, so there must have been some reason for this strange layout.
 
Something a bit different, nicely built and congrats on the airbrush finish, I've still to have a go with mine.

I'm not sure why they designed it like this, but it never made it into production, mostly because the luftwaffe feared that the unusual, asymmetrical layout would cause an increase of accidents on take off or landing. Better just go with the tried and true...
