That's looks amazingly busy, good effort

Lee :)

Top work Barry! Great dio, great paint and weathering and well presented. Like this very much.

Si:)

That's brilliant Barry! Top quality work & so much to see - admittedly I'd looked at the 2nd lot of duplicates before I realised!

All that good stuff & in 1/72 too :)

Cheers

Patrick

That is very good and something a bit different.

Great job.

That's a great diorama!!

The colour on the columns is simply perfect! Can I ask how you paint them..?

Nice details...personally I like the drybrush effect on the wheels. ;)

Thanks guys,

Polux the columns were made from plaster that is white, l used a sand colour from bottle to add depth to detail then thined paint down and gave a wash in patches all over letting the white of the plaster alter the shades of the paint.

hope that helps.

superb work Barry real like the whole look of it, well set out,and so much going on,

nice use of colors and the weathering looks great,

like the setting in the old ruin, ;)

Great build Barry , how did I miss this ! The sand looks fine , contrary to belief a lot of the sand was very stony and rocky in North afrika so yours looks great and in scale :)

Very nice! Are those custom tarps? If so how did you do them?
Thanks the tarps are peices of paper kithen roll cut out ,draped over wheels before painting then aply watered white wood glue painted on to paper with a brush till it goes soft and then you can shape it over wheels and add creases ,a few more coats and when dry carfuly remove .
