latest dio is a w w 1 french 155 mm gun used by the africa corp in w w 2 .


Nice kit ,columns and blocks made from plaster sand is a little to corse but was all i could find .

Polux the columns were made from plaster that is white, l used a sand colour from bottle to add depth to detail then thined paint down and gave a wash in patches all over letting the white of the plaster alter the shades of the paint.

Great build Barry , how did I miss this ! The sand looks fine , contrary to belief a lot of the sand was very stony and rocky in North afrika so yours looks great and in scale

Thanks the tarps are peices of paper kithen roll cut out ,draped over wheels before painting then aply watered white wood glue painted on to paper with a brush till it goes soft and then you can shape it over wheels and add creases ,a few more coats and when dry carfuly remove .
