Hi chaps 


I've been off the modelling scene for a while but I have got a wee kit that I got off a sale from here a while ago. My choice of colour scene rather than the usual Battle of Britain etc is to do a racer that took part in the kings cup.


Airfix new mould kit used but I'm unsure of paint colour ( I use Tamiya / revell and Vallejo and if I have not got it I'm sure John at SMS can oblige.


from ref it's painted a blue ? Is thus PR blue and has gold leaf trim 


I would also like to obtain decals but I have a drawer full so maybe able to locate some 


any help would be grateful

Well I'm deciding on going a bit bigger in scale 1/48 now ( have an italeri 1/48 Sea hurricane in the stash but missing a few parts like cockpit instrument panel which I'll our source.


What I do need is a set of exhausts though to match.


will a set of 6  exhaust pipes either side ( fishtail ) fit I'm wondering as this example did not have the traditional exhaust muffler as in the mk1 or Mk2 


The 1/72 will be another differant hurri with another outrageous colour sceme I have in mind
