Paul & John many thanks! 1/72 is the new 1/35!

I've finished the weathering (famous last words!) , using a combination of coloured pencils & oils. Somehow I've lost a balkenkreuz, no idea where that's gone!

Steve, Si, Ian, Monica & Polux - thank you! :)

I'm very happy with it thus far, although parts dropping off are a PITA!

Monica, the cunning plan has been implemented but I fear only a big dollop of mud will make it work!

Are you sure it is 1/72 Patrick.o_O The detail at 1/72 is remarkable.

Laurie it certainly is 1/72, my tired eyes can attest to it!

A few more pictures, (I'm trying to find the perfect background colour!)

I've added the spare tracks, tow cables & tools - with the exception of the spade which broke!

I also added some ' foliage ' for which I'd appreciate some opinions. I think it looks ok & conveniently covers up the missing balkenkreuz! ;)

Looks amazing , I like the colours and the size is deceiving , I thing the foliage looks good I think it could do with more though :)

Looks great the camo looks good don't think I could spray that scale without making it all the same colour:confused:.

Dave

Cunning indeed , it looks great Patrick , and very cold! cheers tony

Looking cooooooooool nicely done Patrick loving the base goes well with the tank could I ask what did you use for the snow as I've been thinking of one of these winter theme builds cheers John

Thread owner
Thanks Tony & John! :)

John, the snow is bicarbonate of soda. You can mix it with PVA glue for heavy snow. Here, I've sprayed the base in small sections with hairspray as a fixer

& then sprinkled the bicarb over it.

Cheers
