Stand made and I did a miscalculation as the cutouts for the bilge and keel now do not fit as snug due to the crustyness...I never learn. Anyway, here is a pic of the boat and stand-this was varnished and stained to look old.

I watched 'The Cruel Sea' on TV whilst preparing a roast dinner for my Outlaws yesterday - some cracking shots of a Flower Class corvette - the 'Compass Rose' I thought of your masterpiece when she was torpedoed - lovely work mate!

I watched that as well, and thought exactly the same. Truly great film in my eyes. Trivia point…..the producer was Barry Norman’s (film 19xx presenter) Dad.

Coming to end of this build, some finishing to do and plaques to add but, things not be good...the missus will not have it in the house.

No room in the workshed to store it and well, no house room...sat pondering what to do, I do have a feeling that when finished this could be past on. :sad:
