Heres a coincidence! After admiring Ian's Skyraider build the other day, I went to my friends house to show him the completed Gannet that he gave me. He liked it and then handed me this and asked if I fancied having a crack at it. So here it is. First ever resin kit I've properly looked at and I'm scared! It isn't very well detailed but that's fine in this scale and I should be able to add a bit to it, my main concern is that it fits like a clowns shoe. Anyway here's what was in the box, I'll try and whip it into shape but I apologise in advance if it ends up in the bin;)

Yep! This will be a challenge.

Let's see the final result, I'm sure it will be a great model at the end (knowing your skills) ;)

Good luck!

Clown's shoe.... I like it! For a moment I thought you were referring to the radome slung underneath... silly me.

Good luck!! :)

No real difference in a resin kit other than the clean-up and glueing.

Any warped parts just pop them in very hot, not boiling, water leave a while the take out and clamp them flat while they cool off.

Be careful of the dust, e

Resin dust is a health hazard and you should wear at least a dust mask. A damp cloth on the work top helps keep the dust in place.

Resin dust mixed with ca is a good strengthener in hidden joints...
