Started working on the tracks. Did a black/brown wash on wheels and sprockets. Added some small details. Got a little dirt on the lower hull. Started some detail painting. That's it for now, I'm off to my wingy thing job. Rick H.P1010830.JPGP1010834.JPGP1010835.JPGP1010836.JPG

Thanks Gents. I'll be starting on the final phase next, dry brushing, high lighting and last of the small stuff.

Lovely work Rick. That front headlight must have been fun! :smiling2:. Will it be going on a base??

Hi Steve, I haven't decided yet. I may have some Russian tank riding troops in the stash...Hmmmm.

Dry brushing completed, installed radio antenna did a little highlighting on the tow cables and did a final wash on the tracks. When dry, I'll get a gloss coat on the turret for decals then seal with dull coat and do the final weathering.P1010845.JPGP1010846.JPGP1010848.JPG

Latest update this week. Decals on, soon as they cure will dull coat and start the final weathering when that's dry. Cheers, Rick H.P1010854.JPGP1010856.JPGP1010858.JPGP1010859.JPG

Wow Rick,

Totally and I do mean totally amazing what you achieve in such a tiny kit. Your scratchy brings it to another level Buddy. I have been looking it over and the only negative point I've found is that the exhaust pipes on the rear deck are 5 degrees too far turned in. They should point more outwards…………………..

I'll get my coat...

Nice one Allen, you are a quick study! lol:tongue-out3:
Thanks, I'll correct that first thing. Rick H.

p.s. I was waiting for someone to say the decals were crooked. Have no idea what they say...Eat at Ivan's?? Who knows.

No way Rick, I have never seen a Russian vehicle that had straight slogans on it. I was going to ask what it meant as I thought it was "Death to the Facist Bambergers"...……..Still a fantastic build though!!!
