Current state of wip. Unfortunately I found out it was the 84th Chem attached to the 5th ID rather than the 2nd Chem attached to 7th Armored involved at Dornot. This will require some re-decaling.

Hi Paul
As always such detailed work. Real attention to getting things historically accurate as well.

Thank you gentlemen. Sorry for the washed out pics. Don't know what happened, they were OK on my desktop. PaulE

Still hoping to find some 84th anything in the stash, Steve. Trimming film on decals this size to align them is nigh on impossible at this scale, although in my youth I did so for end markings on RR rolling stock. Last resort. Still working on foil open sandbag solution. PaulE

Looking good. I envy the amount of figures you can muster and paint for so large a base, Paul. Real attention to getting things historically accurate is another aspect that I admire. Alas I'm an anything will do within reason kind of diorama builder.

Cheers,
Richard

Thanks Richard. I like the details. It's part of my joy. Often it surpasses my modeling skills. Just trying to hold up my end of the braille scalers:smiling4: (1/87, 1/76, 1/72, & 1/56?). PaulE

Good for you Paul .
Determination should be your middle name ! Looks fantastic, everything in it's place.
