Well first of all "Happy Anniversary" to the two of you :)

Looks well detailed looking at the sprues, nice idea to change the dates too ... ya sentimental bugger :) :)

That's really thoughtful of her, congrats to you both on your anniversary.

Happy Anniversary! The A7 is a mean looking machine, the low intake gave it the carrier name 'People Eater'.

Nice anniversary gift that is Ian mate, best wishes to you both. One question though, what did you get for your good lady? Please don't say an iron!! I did once then the bleeding started.

Have fun, John

I did a google serch on 17th Anniversary gifts and came up with this.

Traditional - Ideas for 17th Anniversary Gifts (Amethyst, Citrine)

• Amethyst pendant.

•Raw amethyst cave or geode.

•Purple coloured dress.

•Gemstone bracelet.

•Purple coloured shoes.

•Polished amethyst stones.

•Citrine beaded necklace.

•Amethyst or citrine studded earrings.

•Amethyst cufflinks.

•Tie clip.

•Tie slide or Bar.

•Tie tack.

Modern - Ideas for 17th Anniversary Gifts (Furniture)

•Book Shelf.

•Dining table and chairs.

•Wooden artifacts.

•Wooden jewelry.

•Wood incense holder.

•Wooden sculpture.

•Wood kitchen chopping board.

•Knives set with wooden handle.

..... So I reckon you did alright with the Corsair. Beats the hell out of a pair of "purple shoes" or a "wood incence burner" (I would have thought that'd catch fire ???) ...........

Look forward to seeing it thrown together.

Peter

Congrats Ian.

Do you get a one to one scale when you get to fifty.

When reachingthe 50 I just got the bill for the party. Worth it had many fine years.

Laurie

Happy Anniversary! It's my wife's wedding anniversary soon. I wonder if she will be as considerate?
