discussion 1st trumpeter

I have just started building a trumpeter 1/35 British self propelled howitzer. Has anyone built one of these? I was wondering how they go together and whether there is anything to watch out for. It looks a good kit and because it was free makes it even better!
Been toying with the idea of weathering, but I think about that with every build, always chicken out with the fear of messing it up.

I used to feel like that about weathering so to start with i went out to range and bought a cheap set of chalk pastels scrap some dust of with a hobby knife mix with water and a drop of fairy and you got a wash if it gose wrong its easy to clean with just water if theres a mistake and i also just use the dust to drybrush on in areas were i feel it needs once again easy to fix if you mess it up then once done and how you like it seal it with varnish
