discussion 2.4 change over

I am looking at changing one of my boat systems to 2.4Ghz, will the new receiver plug/ sockets be the same as the present Hitech 40Mhz or am I likely to hit any snags.  (I take that I just need to change the reciever in the boat). Thanks for any help......

As far as I know all the servo plugs are the same. You might need to swap a couple of the wires around. Its easy enough and they often tell how to do it in the new receiver instructions. You will also need a new transmitter, but you knew that.

Thanks for your quick reply Ian... yep, I'm going to get one of the package deals which are currently on offer..(tx and rx)  The big attraction now of course is with the new system being suitable for land or air.....maybe I'll try a training glider later on.... many thanks once again.
