John, the owner of Scale Model Shop and indeed this forum has contacted me with what can only be called a great offer...

Has has offered to give a discount of 20% on any kit that is purchased to take part in the group builds ON THIS FORUM.

I would like to be the first to give a big thank you to John. I am only to aware of the cost of some of the kits these days and I am sure that many of us will also appreciate this offer.

There are just a few things needed from you. The first and most important is respect. If you say you are buying the kit for a group build both John and I will be very sorry if it does not appear in the forums. I think it would also be in its place to give a thank you to John in the build thread.

The other thing, and this is Johns request is that you try to place orders as soon as possible. This will give him a chance to place a larger order. It is after all better to place one big order than lots of small ones.

Also due to the generous discount, those kits purchased will NOT be eligible for free postage or reward points.

On a practical side, we will soon have "The final list" over all the group builds and SIG builds so you can all look and see what there is and figure out what you want to build.

Happy plastic bashing-

That is a very good offer and I for one will take the offer up on any kit I require for the GB/SIG and SSIGs

Now just waiting for the list

Many thanks also John

Fantastic offer and all credit to John for making it. I'm just dissapointed that I can never get involved with group builds!

So the next one will be Tamiya 1/32nd aircraft?!! :)

Tamiya do a nice Zero in 1/32 Richard... That would fit in quite well. I s'pose it's a question of if you are on land...

... or swanning around the Caribbean...
