Just been browsing around the web and went to the Cyber Hobby website, they have a scoop section which shows the up and coming, one that caught my eye was this one from Airfix. 1/72 I know but they may go to 1/48 on it. Looks good and there seem to be a few extras with it as well juding by the resupply model kit next to it.

Here is a photograph

Apparently announced at this years Nurenburg Toy Fair. I may even have a dabble at this one myself as the oonly previous was a Paragon resin conversion for a BII.

What with that and the Italeri announcement, watch all those old Airfix Stirling kits fade away..... :) I want to get hold of the new Gladiator myself.

Cheers, Neil

One of three new tools Lancaster's on the way from Airfix. They all look rather good.

I doubt that Airfix will go 1/48 on them though. It would be great if they did though.

I'm looking forward to the Javlin.

Neil I'm not sure but I don't think it's a new tooling they have just found the tools for the old one. That said, it should be a good kit still. Thinking of getting one myself.

That's a really comprehensive ground service set as well, fond memories of the old Stirling with the bomb tractor, another amazing kit when it first came out.

steady boy. On looking it seems there are only two. The Dambuster version has been retooled and the BII which is all new. What confused me is there is also a 'gift pack' of the Dambuster.

However, I recall reading a review and it would seems there are parts in the BII box that are not on a BII nor the other version so it could be that a third is on the drawing board....?

Neither of them have been released by Airfix yet. Well according to their web site.

As a foot note there is also a new tool Hurricane MkI, early version, in 1/72 on the way, and ... Oh have a look there are lots. Aircraft 1:72 Scale Plastic Scale Model Kits by Airfix
