Unfortunately, the canopy was slightly oversize, leaving bit of a gap on the starboard side. I used decals from XtraDecal Sheet X72099 which contains decals for USAF 4th Fighter Group, RAF Debden, 334th, 335th, and 336th Fighter Squadrons. This particular machine was flown by Lt. James R. McMahon and is how it appeared in April 1945.

This was a 1990's boxing of the same 70's tooling above. Slightly off register decals but they did go on without any setting solution. Parts were ill-fitting and difficult to work with.

BTW, It was only after I had taken the photos above, that I noticed I hadn't painted the propeller tips yellow. They have been done now:
