HI Peter well ive built ship models for yrs an only a bout two months ago i JUST FIINSHINED BUILDING on the USS HORNET FOR THE DOLITTLE RAID ON JAPAN in 1/200 SCALE by I LOVE KITS an it was a fabulus kit but had a high parts count as it had also all 16 B25 planes on the deck that took part in that raid an yes had some trouble building it but the ship now looks impressive an lit up also SO YES SHIPS ARE defeinatly worth buildin an it took me about a year an a half to build it ATBH i was getting stressed building it but the finished ship was worth it an to have a rest now ive now started building a plane again an one you dont see much of an its a B58 HUSTLER in 1/48 SCALE SO ITS BIG LIKE MY HORNET WAS but i like these big modeles ecepting for the p/e that was a right PITA but both my builds are in the under costruckion seckion if you want to look but what ever model you chose i just hope you will be happy with your build enjoy the hobby sir
