With the sad news of the loss of another RAF pilot, i thought I would express my admiration and thanks for what they do for us. Here are a few pictures that I have taken of the guys at work and play.

This is the Blades aerobatic team, consiting of ex-RAF pilots.

Regards

Scuff

Yes also like to add my admiration to these guys for all their work throughout the RAF.

Also the ground crews who are so easy to forget. When you consider the amount of flying the RAF achieved in Libya those fellows must have worked hard to keep them in the air without mishap.

Same goes for Afganistan.

Aint that the truth. Majority of officers and the general public forget the lower ranks and how much it takes to keep their little 'flying club' running.

The Arrers were the other main reason I joined-up myself, think they were flying Gnats back then

Folland Gnat from 1965 until 1979 and then the Hawk T1 from then onwards

My respects to all the airmen of th R.A.F.

Scuff you are a wonderful photographer, you seem to have the knack of right place right time.

Thanks for sharing.

Tony.
