For those wondering where I have been recently and why my Mig21 build stalled I shall explain.

I have been travelling a lot for work and we are also moving house.

Now our son is off to university we have decided to down size a little so are moving across Brussels to an apartment. So the modelling equipment has all been packed away.

Things are now absolute chaos with the removal men in doing the packing for the move tomorrow.
Luckily I will still have a modelling space in the new apartment.

The good news (or bad news for the wallet) is I will only be a 10 minute walk from the local model shop.

House moves are great aren't they Dave .
Having just moved into our new home we have gear all over the place. Boxes still to be unpacked and even more stored with relatives its a nightmare.
You have my sympathy mate

Good luck With the move. ..
Ten minuts Walk to the model shop....i have a minimum of an hours drive!

Thanks, they are not fun, but I am used to it, this will be the
sixth time in 24 years including one from the uk to Belgium.
Just looking forward to getting my modelling stuff set back up. And as I will now have to airbrush in the apartment a nice shiny spray booth is required, and I am sure one or two other bits will prove essential after the move.

Good luck With the move. ..

The model shop is luck of the draw and the benefit of living in a major city, I am only moving 3/4 mile but directly towards the shop. The next nearest is In Antwerp.

That's not a bad thing, it gives you time to think about what the WIFE said as you left the house wallet loaded and in hand.

Antwerp is a bit of a hike. I was in Maastricht last year and found a decent model shop, but that's probably twice as far away.

Maastricht is a bit further away and a little harder to get to, there is a good train service to Antwerp which is faster than a car. Here in Belgium they announce the traffic jams on the radio as total km of jams for the country.

Thanks for all the messages, we moved in on Wednesday, the removal men unpacked all the boxes and took them away, but we now have thing stacked everywhere. Slowly getting it all put away.
We had a fun day moving; the new apartment is on the 7th floor, so everything came up on an external lift and onto the balcony.
Spent today cleaning the old house for the leaving inspection.
Next job is to build 5 IKEA bookcases to replace some built in ones at the last property. Then I will be able to get the books off the floor and start to sort out my modelling space.
I am looking forward to going back to work next week for a rest.
