I have gotten fed up with boat's and decided to raid the stash the last b-29 I tried to build was the old airfix one.
There is a story attached to this particular aircraft just Google kee Bird to find the whole story I have ordered the correct decals and should be with me by the time I finish

An interesting aircraft. Looks a nice kit which will be a big model when built. Having read it's story perhaps a snowy base to sit it on.

HI Peter is this the B29 that crash landed in the artic an some chaps went out to try an get it flyin again ? as i see the first part on the telly but missed the 2nd part but i heard it caught fire which was a real shame due to all the struggles them guys went through to try it an pity you dont fit lights in it ?

It's is indeed the one and I did watch the programme and I was gutted when It caught fire after all their work it was such a shame they couldn't bring it home

The history of this machine is amazing. IF anyone is interested this is where the remains lay in Greenland. Thanks to Google Earth!!

Looking good. I just remembered I once saw a tour of the interior, which may help people seeing your model in placing what is what

I managed to get 30 minutes to do a little more and had added some more pe.

Finished the port side cockpit

Everything now installed ready for buttoning up
And despite all of the interior I have had no problem in joining.

Started on the windscreen Masking

Wings and engine cowlings attached I have made a few mistakes as kee Bird had upper gun turrets and without checking I followed the instructions and cut them off but I installed the lower ones
