Thats great...... Love the wear and tear from getting in and out of the cockpit, a nice touch

Great build love the weathering and those panel lines are looking great.

5 stars from me

Really nice, David. The worn paintwork looks genuinely worn off (not painted on). I also noticed how you managed to get your panel lines consistent across the decals - some of my work shows that's not easy!

Great build David I realy like the chipping and painting effects you have done awesome work

Thanks Doug. I had to scribe the decal after they went down because they we doubled up. Which was tricky! Because it slipped.

I have a Tamiya scriber which I found a little unwieldy to say the least. What scribers do you use?

Very nice David! The weathering & chipping are just right, not over-done.

Looks a bigger scale than it actually is.

Really nice Zero David, love the weathering and chipping!! Very well done :)

That is a really nice paint job David, what green did you use? I really like it.

Great job David , to my eye the chipping is perfect , all too often we see japanese aircraft that are weathered/chipped to hell , a bit unrealistic in my mind ,but yours is nicely done . Lovely clean build of a nice looking kit , cheers tony

Hi Aaron,

Thanks for positive feedback.

I used Vallejo Model Air CAM. DARK GREEN - 71019. For the green.

Hi David. I'd normally use the Tamiya one too, but I'd never thought of scribing over decals. For that I use Microsol etc. to get it as well settled as possible, then when dry press it into the panel line with something more rounded, like a cocktail stick or even a fingernail. But hey, why am I telling you? Your results are better than mine!

1:72, That's fantastic. I echo all the positive comments above.

Hi Doug, I think I should have realised that a double decal would not settle down too well. I tried loads of Microsol but it didn't work for me. So I put some clear cote on it then crossed my fingers and went with the scribe. On reflection next time I will pre-scrib where a double decal will sit.

It was my fourth kit built since coming back to the hobby and I'm learning as I go.

The generous comments from yourself & everyone are a great confidence builder!

Thanks again.

I like that a lot David, especially the highlighted panel lines and general wear and tear. Great job.
