Just thought i'd put a pic up (not a very good one) of my recently finished 1/72 Academy Bf109-G14 flown by the famous ace Erich Hartmann from 1/JG53 during febuary 1945 over Hungary....



The pictures not great but hopefully you can see it. I havnt built a model for 4 years so be gentle ha ha!

Thank you, yeah im a fan of the winter look, I also like there tropical look too.

The build went well, no fit issuses at all and for the scale the cockpit was nicely detailed. I made my own seat belts out of tamiya masking tape which looks better then a plain seat. I built it as I have a soft spot for German aircraft off WW1 and WW2. I will defo be building another and look forward to adding some more to the collection.
 
Nice one James. I've done a couple of these little Academy models, and liked them all.

Great build, James. The winter paint job looks impressive on the 109. 5*****
 
Just caught this one James, the picture is a little fuzzy but looks like a good build well done
