discussion Advice please - King Tiger

Good day fellow enthusiasts,

I am angling for some advice. As a plane builder I have some idea of military vehicle kits but not a lot.

I have the task of buying my brother a birthday/Xmas present and think he would like a king tiger kit in 1/35. He hasn't built any of these but the planes he has built he favours high detail complex kits and PE/resin extras.

From the research I have done the Dragon seems good but your expert opinion a would be appreciated.

Hi James, I have built the Meng Tiger 2 with full interior. I can fully recommend it. Excellent kit in my opinion. Near perfect blend of detail and ease of build.

Hi John,

I went for a Meng and a Takom in the end. decided to go with both as they were coming from China. Currently working on a 1/16 RC KT though (painting, it came pre built).

How accessible is the interior once built?

I got the Meng KT as well.

When I built mine I left the top of the turret, the engine decks and the hull roof unglued. I can remove them if and when I want.
