This young Para Corporal as part of the mission to get people out of Afghanistan.,

The baby was handed over the wire. The mother followed & with her pram.

It is the other side of the story this young man, with his mates, doing a difficult dangerous
job. Such a lovely picture & shows the humanitarian side of life.

Now stuck on my wall as a reminder of the good side of life. So very emotional. His eyes
tell you so much. Inspirational.

Ah, Laurie, leave it to you to find the good side of a terrible and truly avoidable situation.
No politics allowed on open site and I agree wholeheartedly with that policy, since what I would have to say
would peel the paint and have me ejected from the site.
Let's just pray for everybody. :sad-face:

Jim.

But if you put aside politics and emotions...this could be a subject for a figure bust and the topic discussed outside this forum.

Cheers,
Richard

Humanity being shown in the face of an inhumane situation is always spiritually uplifting. Politicians of all hues, creeds, party colours, and religions should look on this picture and feel bloody ashamed of their moral inadequacy.
