discussion AH-1W Super Cobra 1/35

Hi all,


Started this kit couple of weeks back, bought the Eduard interior PE for cockpit. This is what I've done so far. Those tiny PE is not the easiest thing to be dealt with to be honest, but it makes the cockpit looks awesome. So far the kit is quite good, no flash and great fit.


I'll keep you guys posted as I progress with the build. Any inputs or suggestions are welcomed

Update from the workbench, the cockpit is in place, filled all gaps, masked all necessary sections and ready for primer and pre-shade.

Hi Theuns,


The fit is great no major surgery or fillimg required so far. The cockpit detail is average though, but using aftermarket should enhance the detail significantly.

Latest WIP update from the bench:


- Main color Light Ghost Grey and Greyish Blue painted.


- Gloss coated.


- Main decal tested and looks fine with microset.


Next will be flat coat (once all decals are done) and weathering.


Any comments and suggestions are most welcomed.
