Hi all, can anyone tell me what the differece is betweeen a Royalmax and Veda airbrush.

I'm not familiar with either but they are both relatively cheap brushes of Chinese origin.

Cheap doesn't always mean crap and I know many people get good results from these airbrushes. As an entry level tool they have something going for them, and you can always upgrade later if you so wish. At the prices these sell for you won't have a huge investment in one.

I agree with steve , they may only be cheap but that doesnt mean they are no good . I personally only use cheap chinese airbrushes and have no problems with them . They can be picked up for less than £15 including postage on E-bay so as a starter tool theyre ideal , if you feel the need to upgrade to something a bit more expensive later then you can ( i never did though!) I even got a new nozzle and needle for one of mine when I dropped it while cleaning it and broke the nozzle off , about £3 free postage from china and it came in just over a week! cheers tony

Try these. They give a bit of info.

Pretty certain that both airbrushes come form the same Chinese Factory. Like 95% of compressors they come form the same factory in China. The products are just badged under different names.

Not said for what use you are putting them. Noticed that a lot of the cheaper end airbrushes have .2 and .6 needle/nozzles. If you are are model maker the average is .4 .35 needle nozzle packages.

Also ensure you can get spares.

Strange, most of the brushes Ive seen (or bought) have had 0.3 mm needle/nozzles .you can get 0.2 as well but in general the majority of them are 0.3 as standard , a good general purpose size.
