Time to put this one on the slipway.
It was brought rather cheaply I am surprised to find everything is all present and correct as everything is contained in the large bag which was still sealed.

I have made a start by doing the flight deck decals because its one the later parts to be attached its easier to do them now because I don't have a nearly complete ship to manhandle.
And the two aircraft lifts will be aft half up and fore will be lowered.

I’ve got one in mothball at the moment, but going to finish it in the up and coming GB. Nice start Peter.

Very nice model.

Bought this in Portsmouth. Decided boats were not for me & gave it away. £30 about 20 years ago I would say.

Nice work Peter.. This little carriers were superb looking ships. Especially up against the dear old Hermes.
At least one of the should be preserved after their sterling service the Invincible gave in the Falklands.

Flight deck is finished so I can now get on with the main build.

Started on the hanger deck walls with some dry brushing to highlight the interior walls

Whilst waiting for the new compressed I was lucky to paint enough to do some more work and I have all the Hull bays painted and installed.

I can't believe it's been nearly two years since I touched this one I have finally got some paint on the Hull. But getting the flight deck glued is going to be fun because of the sides being warped.

I have managed to get the flight deck fitted but I have lost some of the decals I have asked airfix for a spare set but they don't have any but I do have a plan.
I have started on the superstructure and all the associated pe.
