I've got the basic painting done. The camouflage is the 'B Scheme', the mirror image of that on the box art as apparently my subject was completed in that scheme.



And, of course, the rather exotic looking underside.



I can usually unmask my enamels (thinned with cellulose thinners) after a couple of hours once they are touch dry but they have not finished the drying and curing process. These will now be left for at least twenty four hours before I do anything else.

I finally had a chance to get a gloss coat and the decals on this one.



The Owl decals were very nice, if slightly fragile. They seemed reluctant to unstick from the backing, even after a good soak, but once free performed very well. The unwary might manage to break them!

I intend to make a landing light to go in that big hole in the port wing as there is nothing in the kit except for the clear cover. Apart from that, all the dangly bits are more or less good to go.
