I'm curious to see what's in the Battle of Waterloo Gift Set! http://www.airfix.com/catalog/product/view/id/8418/category/1209/

Happy to see various scale Paul Defiants, important planes at the beginning of BoB, right up until the Luftwaffe worked out if you fly head on, it didn't have a chance: http://www.airfix.com/catalog/product/view/id/8392/category/1209/

I was already after a Dornier Do 17z which was released a couple of weeks ago, but 1st Jan there's a Dogfight Doubles that includes a Paul Defiant! Hopefully they've tried to match the Dornier that was dredged up in Kent with the Defiant they *think* downed the aircraft! http://www.airfix.com/catalog/product/view/id/8414/category/1209/

Also the BoB Gift Set features planes recently New Tooled: http://www.airfix.com/catalog/product/view/id/8417/category/1209/

So I'm hoping this is a New Tool kit!

But...this is new or old...?I saw some time ago a Mosquito at 1/24....or maybe I'm wrong o_O

I think this Mossie is a new variant...
Which usually means it's the old kit with a new sprue or decals or both What ever it is it's going to be bought :)

But, the most expensive 1/24 is a New Tool, the next largest (by volume) is probably the Sea Harrier, which is £80. I know this is a larger plane (by volume), but that's quite a bit more expensive if it wasn't a New Tool kit...

The Mossie is a new Mk

Glad to see that they have started to poke around in 1/48 RAF ground support. I've been pestering them for years! :)

I fear that far from all the "News" are new tool kits. Some of them are re releases I recognise. Like the look of the Shack and the Whitley even if they are not my scale..

New tool Spit MK I and Hurry. On the list!

Its not as if its that old... Its a great kit with loads of detail and I am sure the new release will be just as good.

If you zoom in on the picture you can read off the box, (1 Box each of Highland Infantry, French Cavalry (Cuirassiers), French Artillery (Foot) British Cavalry (Hussars), French Infantry, British Infantry, British Artillery (Horse) French Imperial Guard, Prussian Infantry and La Haye Sainte Farmhouse.) It looks like the box I had as a kid nearly 40 years ago. My guess is they have relaunched it for the 200th anniversary of the Battle.

There's an old review on good old YouTube, this one's 3 years old:

It's also an FBVI, but has 5 options for painting/decals which looks pretty cool
