Airfix B24 H Liberator 1/72

Before putting the airbrush to bed I thought I may as well spray the N marking. Not 100% but after this I'm confident enough to try the larger B&W marking on one of the wings

I made a decent enough job of spraying the large marking on top of the wing so now I've started working my way through the decals

Thanks Joe, much appreciated.

I'm gradually working through the decals now. Slow and steady, which is a change for me :tears-of-joy:

Looking really good. The way the pre-shade has worked is tribute to your air brush skills. Markings coming on a treat.

Thanks Jim.

I've got all of the markings and decals done now, sealed in with a light gloss coat.

The bombs are okay if you squint from the moon lol. The stars & bars on the fuselage sides were very tricky, having to work around the waist gunners doors and their wind deflectors. Lots of micro sol, some slicing with a new blade, and a couple of touch ups has them looking good enough for me.

Thanks Chris. The doors can be posed open if you wanted to but I've gone for it closed up.

After all the work I put into the bombs, this is all you can see:

After some final assembly she's done. I managed to ruin a couple of areas with my usual CA glue handicap, but I'm happy with the rest of it.

I'll put up a completed post once the forum has moved, but here are a couple of pictures

That's real nice Andy. I liked this aircraft and you have certainly done a superb job of replicating it.
