discussion Airfix B24H 1/72

Hello all have not posted for some time, have been working other projects. I have not did an aircraft build for years , however liked the look of this Airfix kit, Also I have a personnel interest in the B 24. My father was a crew chief for 24s & 17s .

Very nice interior sadly like most AC builds it will be covered up, still it was good practice

Coming along as stated nice kit However I would highly recommend finding a copy of Airfix Model World May 2024, outstanding article by Steve Budd. Steve offers so great tips on the build, mainly some work arounds based on some mistakes made by following the instructions step by step. example on the weighting of the ship as the 24 is very tail heavy and building of the nose, top and rear turrets first as opposed near the end if following the guid steps. Believe me it saved much fitting trouble.
