discussion Airfix delivery times

Hi folks,
I ordered the 1/48 Hawker Hunter from the Airfix sale on the 18/11/24 and was wondering how long it takes for them to actually ship items,
It's now the 24/11/24 and I've not even had an update telling me it's 'left the warehouse'... dropped them an e-mail asking for an update but had nothing in the way of a reply yet, is this normal for Airfix ?

I ordered an Airfix Mossie in the Black Friday sale and I think it turned up about a week later. Maybe they are busy due to the time of year?
Hope you get it soon buddy.

Hello Chris,

In my experience it takes a few days to process the order before shipping.

You get an email to confirm purchase then no more email updates until it is actually shipped.

My latest order in the Black Friday sale was made on the 17/12 and was eventually dispatched on the 21/12.

You can check the progress (or lack of) via your account page on the Airfix website.

Thanks guys,

Had an update yesterday morning, saying they were looking into it,
parcel was delivered yesterday afternoon... (that was quick..lol).
