Cheers joe , hopefully they might do a metal wing version of this tooling , would be easy enough to just make a new wing mould , and i think theres an armoured screen on the clear sprue already . The upcoming mkII d is going to be the Revell mkIIc with an aftermarket conversion kit , I seem to be having a thing about aircraft with whopping great guns on them latelyAn excellent Hurricane Tony. Airfix's kit is less complicated than other good Hurricane kits, it looks great, at a fraction of the cost, and without complication. I wish Airfix would do a metal winged Hurricane Mk1 with the armoured windshield.
Wow, fantastic for braille scale mate, looks very nice indeed....![]()

Great work Tony
Thanks a lot guys , I cant recommend this kit highly enough - its really nicely detailed and goes together well . The undercarriage needs a bit of care to thread through the spar and if you want to have the canopy open you need to sand the spine down a bit but the lovely cockpit is worth displaying . Its been boxed in several different versions , but as Joe says its a shame Airfix havent got round to making a metal winged version of this tooling.Nice job Tony. The Hurricane is a lovely aircraft.
