Thanks for all your great 'Hark backs', humorous and helpful suggestions during this build.
A special thanks to Pete and Tim for taking the time to post their respective pictures.

Oh, and Ralph for his appalling attempts at humour!

There are a couple of surprises lined up.

Now all I have to do is wait for a nice sunny day to take the final pictures. See you in 2202!

Thanks again.

Looking very good indeed Ron.

it sounds like your wife has an eye for the hobby!!

My wife made an interesting comment recently on my dogfight doubles build, when she said that the planes looked "too clean" after the post decal coat of varnish. We all know she meant weathering! Perhaps there is hope for her yet!!

ATB.

Can't wait for the completed pics. 570..........getting a little late in the year to expect a nice, warm, sunny day but one can always hope.........:rolling:

I wondered why we hadn't seen any pics of the whole layout recently! I'll light a couple of candles to the weather gods 'cos I want to see what you've ended up with before then!

Morning to you 453.
I see Matron gave you your annual bed bath and then dragged you around your cell a bit early this morning!

Thank you for your excellent comments.
I'm hoping to get a bit of sunshine for some pickie taking, but I fear I might have to resort to 'Miserable' weather. Might set the mood a bit better than sunshine....

Lots of love.

You had any decent weather for pics up there yet? Still waiting to see your surprise.

All looking very like a railway scrapyard Ron, looking forward to seeing it all together.
A bit late, but a photo of a 9F at the Wensleydale railway a few years ago.

Sorry for the late response chaps. It's a bit much when you don't look at your own thread and miss fresh posts! :upside:
Thanks for the input and a special thanks to Graeme for the excellent photo.

I managed to get a set of sunny pictures a week or so ago, but 'other things' have taken over. I hope to post the finished model sometime over the w/end. - If I'm left in peace!

Thanks for the continued interest.

Yours, blowing his whistle.

Late Morn Ron,

Just had a good re-read of this and words escape me at the moment...........

Excellent work all around, right down to the last detail. All thumbs up to you!!! Love the fire barrel and it is a definite "must". Nobody likes to stand around and drink a beer in the cold.....

Can't wait to see the final unveiling pics when you get a chance!

Yours in rails,

Choo Choo Charlie from Good "N" Plenty fame.........

Ron you have produced a cracking scrap yard. The attention to detail is spot on, looking forward to seeing the finished diorama.:thumb2:
