I was rather surprized to see that Airfix has releaced their very nice new tool Swordfish allong with an "OK-ish" sea Hurricaine in 1/72.

I just had to get one, I have been after a Swordfish for some time now and to get one for way cheaper than normal incl another model was an early christmass

Either Airfix is making a nice fat markup on the swordfish kit on it's own to be able to "give them away" almost or they have to many kits on their hands LOL
Either way I am happy with this arangement and hope they do the same with other models.

I built one of the new tool Airfix swordfish some time ago, and it was a brilliant kit. For 1:72 and the price the detail was really good. It was well worth the full price, if you've got it cheaper, it's a bargain.

Indeed yes, I understand the Hurricaine is a dog but as I got it "for free" basically its no big deal.
I was surprised to find that the RAF and FAA planes had the rondals painted on as depicted in the boxart, I always thought is was Americans using British planes.
