Very nice indeed Wibble.
Had a leisurely read through, love the tarp method, not heard of that one before.

Very cute pups not worried about the wife it’s my Daughters seeing this. Very nice scratch building updates look great

Looks to me that the hard work and scratchery is paying off. Love the pups.
Now about all those sweetie tins.....

I remember the MCTG (crewed by displaced persons (?)) in Munster, and the mighty Antar of course, loved them! You're making a great job of this mate!
Steve

Just had a catch up Mike, this resin kit looks 'challenging', but you're doing a great job on it.

Many thanks for all the kind comments - still working my way through the sweetie tins, two more to go and wilting....
The cab has been painted with the top coat as have the doors and bonnet/hood sections. Masking was carried out with Tamiya tape and my trusty disc cutter (leather punch)...

What looks like finger prints on the top of the cab are just from dust when handling the cab once it was dry.
The headlights and fire extinguishers are now in place, the grill is there for show and will be permanent once the cab has been fitted...

And that is it for today.
A word for John in the shop - thankyou for a fast service.
Happy New Year to you all.
Mike.

Update,
The cab has had a wash of black oil and then a dry brush of the top coat to bring out the highlights - but with Green on Black there is not much chance....

The cab is only dry fitted, I want to add all the light lens first and it is easier to handle.
So why paint and wash were drying off I turned to the trailer. So far the susspension bogies are fitted and without too much of a fight. But the landing legs have made up for that....

The arm for the flat plate is supposed to go over the arm on the right and the left small locator is supposed to fit between the middle two securing brackets. I now have to file down and to reshape these to allow the holes to line up - but that is for tomorrow.
More later,
Cheers
Mike..

Wibble , cab part looks the part , are you going to show that detail on the engine or cover it all up ?
Wobble

Looking superb as always Mike. Like John I was wondering whether that lovely engine will remain on show.

Update,
Many thanks for your recent comments.
Been having a bit of trailer trouble - location of parts, lack of proper instructions, numbered parts and no location for them - the usual from AA. So have decided to put it back in the box for a rest and to concentrate on the Centurion bridgelayer for a rest period and ease the frustration. But here is a teaser for the future...

The trailer is a bit more advanced in the build than is shown here...
More later
Mike.

Wibble not like you to put something back into its box. For the money AA charge you would think they could get it right instruction wise
All looking good in the photo, esp the tarp. That has come out well.
Wobble in a very damp Lincs.

Mike,
Good idea to put it down for a while, there is nothing worse than a kit that that fights you all the way. I have to say though what has been done so far looks the nuts.
