good on her,so glad to see it,job well done ;) :smiling:

OK?? OK?? is that all you can say? :rolling:

That's an excellent result, first model built, first time using airbrush ?

(That was a practice run with the undercoat).:thumb2::thumb2:

Spent most of my modelling trying to get that kind of result! ;)

Now for the tricky part - a little weathering perhaps??

Paul.

All

Thanks for the great feedback and for the support I'll make sure she reads the comments later!

Paul - You are probably right about my 'OK' above but you have to understand that I have made understatement something of an art form! In fact if they allowed pictures in dictionaries you would just see my face against the entry!! ;) I will therefore try and be more effusive in my praise of her efforts in future posts!! :smiling: Next up before weathering is painting the tools and tracks.

Thanks again all for taking the time to respond.

Yours

Andrew

Ah yes I know how that goes - first it's a model - then it's the bench - then the stash!!
Need me to go on???? :flushed: ;):smiling2::smiling2::smiling2:

Hi all

So at some point in the process I was thinking of applying a lighter grey filter to lighten the tank up a bit as the base colour is a bit on the dark side and also to blend the brown and grey a bit better.

I've only done a couple of times and so am still very much learning about them and how they behave.

Am I on the right lines or would another approach be better?

Thanks always in advance for your ideas.
