I managed to get some completed shots of this.

Thanks to those that followed the build, and to Peter for hosting the GB.

This was an absolute cracker of a kit and I'm sure to do more versions in the future. Unfortunately the gun sight and rear view mirror have eloped for a different life together but the fit & finish of the parts is as good as I've ever seen in my limited experience.

Thank you guys.

so did you tone down the exhaust staining after all?
No, I went with the majority and let it be. I think it was the direct sunlight on it that morning that had me in a flap, I'm happy with it otherwise :smiling3:

Very good model. I like the desert camouflage better than the green/brown or grey/brown UK schemes, so that makes this one even better IMHO :)

Just catching up after a week away , that is one NICE looking hurricane andy ! Superbly built ,painted and photographed , how much you enjoyed the build shows in the final result , great stuff , cheers tony

Extremely well and cleanly built, and the color combination is just great! :thumb2: :thumb2:

Thank you all, I'm glad you like it as much as I do. A really enjoyable build and I'm chuffed with how it turned out.

That is well nice Andy. One to be proud of! ( along with all the others!).
I do like the Desert Camo.

Thanks Ian.

I like the colours too so I'm looking for another subject I can use them on.

Very nice indeed :thumb2: :thumb2: :thumb2: :thumb2:

I built this same aircraft recently, only using the Zvezda 1/72 kit. I do like the markings.
