I'm back on with this. After a seemingly endless search I've found this image. Not the Monte Carlo rally but it's close to the kind of thing I'm hoping to make, servicing in a layby at the side of the road:



I still haven't found a Sherpa van though and to be honest I haven't really got the space, so it'll be a condensed version.

I'm pretty sure that's Malcolm Wilson receiving some medical treatment, so I've got the right car at least lol

The figures are together and I've mocked up a general layout.

The figures were all very similar so I've had a go at adding some ear defenders and a bobble hat.

I doubt I'll worry our sculpters with my efforts but it's a start lol

They did until I started to paint them :tears-of-joy:

Only the basic colours down for now, hopefully they'll look less like Lego mini figures by the time I've finished lol

The figures come with decals for either Subaru or Peugeot factory teams, so I've printed a few period Austin Rover ones of my own and I'm combining them with the smaller sponsor logos from the box

I've dirtied the car up a bit and added everything to the simple scene. I know I could add a lot more but I'm happy with it.

I don’t think it needs more than what you have there — very nice scene already Though if you were to add something, may I suggest some spectators trying to see what’s going on?
