BUT i have to admit that i didn`t realise i`d joined SO many GBs!!......
Fantastic to get back on a "proper" AFV build !!.....
Here`s my entry....

Made a bit of a start tonight .... Absolutely great to get back into AFV stuff..... been doing a lot of Flying Fing stuff recently!!......

Ok then,a bit more progress....
Almost ready for some primer on the running gear.....

Pretty simple so far, although I have made a couple of,sortoutable,small errors!!
A very enjoyable kit,which I'm certainly enjoying putting together
More to come tomorrow I hope.

Well Andy you're certainly getting on with this. All looking good. I built this kit way back and if I remember correctly it went together well.

just in primer there... now "Drabbed up"!!.......

...... i`ve also done some tyre weathering stuff,(yeah,i know,i`ve heard all the blab about using vinyl tyres,but i`ve done em before without any issues?:thinking: ......

..... and finally for now,some other bits chucked together and base painted......

.... just wanna get it together,and then make it look "OK" !!:thumb2:

No need to apologise there Andrew..... it`s slowed up somewhat now,the need for a little detailing/painting mid assembly has reared it`s ugly head!!

So i have done a bit of stuff........ TBC..........

So then,
Most of the bits are "Glossed up" awaiting Decals and or a wash,not worth showing here,
...... HOWEVER,i raided the spare`s box and shoved a few on the dashboard,also a little weathering on the deck plates, not exactly "Bang On"..... but it resembles a Dash to me!!


That`s it for now,.......but the rest of the Decal frenzy will continue tomorrow,once the Gloss has fully dried,(and i`ve chopped up some of em to adapt:dizzy: !!),

As you all know,this kit came with THIS in the box...

HOWEVER ... I rediscovered THESE....

Old hat now I know,but I've had em AGES,so thought,"Best use em up"... So.....


Tracks on,basic weathering started...TBH, I'm rather pleased so far....some decals done also,but that's for a later assembly batch of pics,for now,ere's the bonnet one.... it's not quite flat yet... The hinges are proving tricky... scalpel blade and more decal set at the ready in the morning mefinks....

Looks ropey now,but it'll be fine

You can't beat good ole' pigs to weather vehicles and the like Mr. Smiff!!! They last forever as long as their holder is sealed and kept away from moisture. Looks mighty fine so far Andy..........

As you all know,this kit came with THIS in the box...

I am wondering why you didn't try the Tammy set though. Same principle, different delivery method onto the model...Give them a shot as inquiring minds want to know how they work Andy!!!............
