I think this kit was made for the Japanese market as everything except the part numbers is in Japanese. The mouldings seem good with almost no flash, a choice of either chrome wheels or plain plastic to paint in your chosen colours and what I think is a really nice touch is the use of metal rods for axles to give free running wheels.

It all went together well with no problems. There is a detailed engine but as it will be covered with a fixed cab it will not be getting any fancy paint. I bought this model as the second part of my proposed diorama but not too sure if I will get away with it as it is 1/32 scale but I thought I would try it as there are no modern 1/35 tipper truck kits to be had anywhere. Time will tell.

‘Super great ‘ , its the Jim Bowen of dump trucks ! “ And Bullys star prize.. a mitsubishi fuso dump truck !” Looks like a great kit andy , the chassis is very nicely detailed . Aoshima do a lot of very nice stuff in 1/32 , classic eighties jap cars with manga box tops , also the Arii owners club kits are very tasty too , jap classics and rarities .

I am going for painted wheels as I reckon chrome would be a touch out of place on a construction job site.

I probably will go with aluminium, note the spelling in the UK as I have seen a few tippers on site with alloy wheels.

Coming along well, chassis painted and I will paint the wheels later as with the metal axles and poly caps they come off and on very easily.
One thing I found a bit strange was that the black plastic components would not stick with TET but it went together OK with Revell Contacta, never had that happen before.

Did a bit of work on the cab, not much detail inside as it will hardly be seen. The kit bumpers and mirror attachments were chrome which I thought would look a bit tacky so I gave them a bleach bath and painted them.
