Found this little kit dirt cheap in a model shop ages ago, so snapped it up....

Its now a little "filler" kit, to keep me busy, until I decide what my next proper build will be.....

Box and sprue, not many parts.... Lol...

Started the build, the two sides of the lower hull/keel... needed a few pegs, clamps...

Then the lower hull, glued to the upper hull/sides.... also needed some support/pegs, clamps....

The base holds it nicely....

Then started to add some detail, the larger guns, deck superstructures, etc.... The front deck section needed clamping down as it was warped.

Think this is the smallest one I've done? the other little ships I did were 1:1200, this one is 1:2000! Gulp...
Will have a got at painting it up, we'll see how we get on.... as I said its just a little "filler" model, so not too fussed if I bodge it, but I'll try not to...

'Very small spare parts' container. Do you categorise your spares or are they left overs from this kit? Nice work so far Peter.

After doing a fair few kits now, I have learnt that you sometimes need a spare part, or to sctatch build summit, so I keep anything thats left over, eg: unused parts on a sprue or if I'm getting rid of an old model, I'll scavange anything that might be useful for a future build, wheels, figures, common parts, tracks, weapons, accessories, etc. I have various containers for figures, small parts, large parts, old sprues, wire, string, stretched sprues, etc plus spare accessories, diorama parts, trees, shrubs, rocks, and various other bits and pieces.

I now have about 10 of those small tupperware type containers with various bits in..... all clearly marked so I know whats in each one, (mostly), who knows when they may become useful? (y);)

Love this peter , like the diddy sherman its a great little diversion between builds . It looks very nicely done for something so tiny , dont forget to drill out the gun barrels for a more authentic look ;) 😆

Kit is now made, will add a bit of filler between the lower/top hull as there is a small gap.
Will then prime up and start painting, will be fiddly as its so small, but we'll give it a go and see what it turns out like....

Have now primed the little ship up, Citadel chaos black....
Started painting the hull (hull red) had two coats but will prolly need another.
I will be doing the upper deck/structures, etc in dark/light grey. Hope to pick out a few little details, buts its so bloody small!
